“My fascination with the elements humbles me.  My desire to paint is fuelled by samples I collect from the environment for reference of colour, texture, and substance; smooth stones from white riverbeds, leaves from concealed forests, or driftwood, bleached white by the sun.   I exaggerate the things I see, inviting the viewer’s eye on a guided tour of the myriad of beauty I so love.”
